I’ve been an entrepreneur for many years. I have founded my own startups, have spun off research projects from science based research institutions and have guided many projects on their first steps towards profitable business. With my own start-ups I have even won several international awards.

For some time now, I’ve been focusing on supporting accelerators, venture capital funds, and other support organisations developing and operating their startup support programs. My own experiences with spin-offs and start-ups have given me a deep understanding of the roles and dilemmas founders face. With theoretical knowledge from three international academic studies, I excel at abstracting experiences and applying them to new concepts and ideas. This not only enables me to design accelerators, incubators and support programs but also allows me to actively support startups, particularly in strategy development and market orientation. I’ve evaluated over 4,500 startups in deal flows, conducted workshops with more than 750 founders, and mentored over 75 teams on a long-term basis.
